As further proof of how true-lee arf-sum this whole Inter-webz 2-dot-OH thing is, I went a wandering around and somehow managed to come across the Song Chart Meme on Flickr.

This is just one of MANY truly hilarious entries out there... We should see if they can get this added as an RSS-feed-based LJ Community.

One interesting thing that seems to show up from this meme - it may be that nearly every pop song can be represented by a simple flowchart, as demonstrated above.

While this may be a logical corollary to the idea that pop songs tend to be simplistic... I don't think it stops there. I think there may be something MUCH deeper involved.... I'm just not sure what. It may be the key to AI-via-pop-songs, or perhaps a new take on human psychology... but one way or another, I think this needs looking into.
