As most of you know, the guy we first put in charge of Iraq, a State Department veteran (read: flack) named L Paul Bremer, disbanded the Iraqi army soon after we took control of the country. Since the Now it turns out that not only did we do this basically without really thinking about it, our President either didn't really know WTF was going on, or he was too spineless to do anything about the bad decision. I love the part that says "since Bremer made the decision, only he could change it." Right, which is why the President is just the symbolic head of his administration, not the ACTUAL head. And so we now have: Reason #2 to Leave Iraq: We disbanded the Iraqi military, and after 4 years, they still don't have an Army back.
